IRC Chat Room? Javascript? |
|
Does RPGDot still have a public IRC chat room? I can't seem the find the info via the search feature. Anyway, I'm just stuck on some javascript stuff and I'm desperately seeking someone who might be willing to help me out via live chat, such as IRC or IM. I remember last time I was in the chat room (a very long time ago), there were a few programmer pro's hanging about.
Any information or offers to help will be immensely appreciated.

I think the problem was that almost nobody used it. _________________

It went well for a few weeks, people flocked to the chatroom... but then iinterest ebbed and quickly died. Keeping a chatroom open for two people is a rather ineffective strategy - in this case a messenger program has far more options. _________________ Jaz |

Hmmm...well then, let's get people to vote. Or maybe somebody could start it and just keep it. I know I will in sometime. _________________ I choose NOT to have a sig!

Sorry if I'm resurrecting this but... I would like a chatroom for this community as well, seeing that I like hanging around here, watching latest news on games. I come here at least once a day to check up on news!
I think if there was actually a chatroom, then you didn't quite put it in a way that people will see as people do want to go to the chatroom (Just look around that thread, most of the people posted here want!). Perhaps someone could setup a chatroom and then you would put it on the left bar on the main section where it says news and forums? It would be quite visible for those who want to go to the forum.
If I don't see any chatroom for this community within a week, I will try to setup my own and then tell you, I'll try to run it for a while, if it REALLY doesn't work that well, then... well... Can't argue with you people :O
