| Chapter 5 Can't find crew |
|
I am at the point where Lord Hagen is scratching his behind waiting for supplies but I talked the paladin at the ship to let me use it. I found the secret passage and got the paladins armor but I can't figure out how to get the 5 recruits onto the ship. I talked to Galron and the mercenaries at the castle and to Lee and to Lord Hagen and to Andre and to the guards in town and to the 2 guards at the ship and to all the NPCs in the harbor city and the castle and to Cipher and his sidekick and to Biff. I even talked to Gerond and Parcival and none of them are volunteering to join my crew to go to the island. Can anyone please help? I am anxious to get the crew and finish chapter 6 within the next couple of days. Many thanks. |

Lee, Gorn, Bennet, Angar, Milten, Lester, Vatras, Diego, Mario, and choose a captain Jack, Torlof, or Jorgen.

Thanks I will trying asking these guys again. I just asked Lee and Milten and they didn't say anything, so I am wondering if I have to trigger some event or do something more than what I have already done. The ship captain okayed my use of the ship, I killed 4 dragons, and I got the pally armor. So I don't know but I will try Lee and Milten and Bennett again for starters. If they continue to not respond i will repost.
Any ideas on what I may still need to do would be greatly appreciated before they accept. Thanks again. |

You should have found the sea chart down in the Secret Library. Look through your inventory, and if you don't have it, go back and find it. Then read it.
Oh, by the way, how do I find Mario? I want to take him on my ship this time around, but I don't know where he is. Does anyone know?

I brought some smithy guy to him, after this he said no i will stay here.
Is there some way to bring him along? |

I'm pretty sure you have to get Brian (Harad's apprentice) to watch his lighthouse for him. If you haven't cleared the bandits out of his lighthouse, do so now.

Had you asked somebody else meanwhile? Once I brought Brian to him, it worked fine.

You must have access to the ship and already some crew-members otherwise he won't go the the harbour. But in case he really said "no, I will stay" I think jmurdock is right and you've asked another captain in the meantime. |

You don't need the ship to ask a captain. First time hadn't taken the ship but asked Jorgen and he showed up and waited til I figured out how to take the ship.

This is interesting as I first asked Girion abt taking ship and he agreed . Then I went to get my crew. They came all to the port and are waiting.
Then I came again and spoke to Girion and whole story went on as the very 1st time. That's strange but we shall see tonight what is going to happen.
