Tired of the tutorial?

Well, bypass it! A modder named Turfster has done several scripts that will allow you to bypass the tutorial or just the opening cutscene.

Replace your original file with (one of) the alternative(s) every time.
(Right-click & save as)

- Embrace + court scene skip : /python/theatre/theatre.py (11,945 bytes)

- Total tutorial skip (need to click away the "how to walk" popup and set one step) : /python/tutorial/tutorial.py (19,866 bytes)
or
- Give experience and lockpick anyway if you decline tutorial : /python/tutorial/tutorial.py (19,856 bytes)

Note that the last one (exp+lockpick) doesn't seem to work for everyone.

Thanks for posting these Val. I'll find them useful. I've played through the game with three different characters now. This'll cut down on some of the repeativeness.
