I'm walking around the old camp and there are people everywhere. Someone mentioned a map for 50 ore. Does this map show where everyone is? Is there a map that shows where everyone is; or should I draw a map myself

You will get use to where people are in the Old camp after an hour.

You can buy several maps. But as far as I know, no of them will show you where someone is.
There will be just main places .
World of Gothic is maybe big, but I think you will soon orientate yourself. I play it for while and made some quests in Old Camp and already know where main people are (or area where they are walking).
But maybe it depends on your orientation skills: do you get lost when you are walking at dark deep wood?

Drawing your own map is a good idea, but you can also ask yourself what purpose the 'Hosted Sites' button on top has.

Hehe, first I pretend to help you, then I leave you alone and helpless in a camp full of thieves and mercenaries.

I was a little shell-shocked by the vast number of people at first; but after going around old camp a few times I started to reconignize faces. Thanks

for like 4 chapters i still had trouble orienting the sect camp... man that camp is fucking confusing directions (on one side u got swamp, another side u got ladders and tree houses, etc...). The other camps are pretty easy to orient yourself in
