ring?

Sounds familiar. But a ring, I dunno..... Is she still there or did she run off? Does she have one of those invisible partners? (I mean can you see another's shadow on the ground?)
But then again, maybe I'm off on a totally wrong track.....

re:

Just did this one.

It's kinda hard to explain where it is, but it's in front of one of the plants, in the first half of the pond kinda in the middle.

step out onto one of the rocks overlooking the water - now look straight down it should be the plant closest to you - the thing is paper cut thin and dark as well. By the way whack the ladies partner he has a tremendously useful pendent. If you don't see him look harder he is right there.

I also did this quest and it took me quite a while to find the ring(it was almost dark). I ended up waiting till it was light, then scanned the entire pond until I found it by a plant. It is almost completely covered in mud. I would kill her first, she has some magic that hurts more than the other guys arrows.

Trick to seeing in water

I found a nice bug here. If you go just slightly down in the water, you can sometimes find just the right line where your focal point is right on top of the water. If you can manage it, the water 'dissapears' and you can see underwater as if the water wasn't there. you just have to get the angle right. This was the only way I was able to see the ring.

I also had to use that water trick in order to find the ring.

that shadow pendent is NICE! my fighter can do some major damage sneaking in some backstabs. high level creatures that are way to hard for me? they run away when your invisible and whacking on them.
