I was just wondering...what is the best 1 or 2 handed sword in the game? and where would i be able to find it?? |

i dont even remember those 1 handed swords anymore but i remember that 2 handed sword named "Uritziel" well that was a real good sword my favorite by the way  you will find it from ORCs Temple so there is a looong journey |

Some of the best swords are found later in the game. Since you didn't mention what level you are I assume that you are just starting out. A good all-around swrod for cramming up someone's arse can be found in the Sect Camp. Just knock off a Templar. It's the two-handed Custodian Sword. It's a nice well balanced blade, capable of taking you many places.

I am currently 22...and i am in the Sleeper temple...is there any good one near there? right now i have one that does 90 dmg. or is that going to be good enough? |

90 dmg is good ... good enough.
There are better swords:
Innos Rage (maybe best sword in game 110 dmg + strenght bonus damage).
Uriziel (120 bonus + 30 (I am not sure) magic bonus)
If you already have teleport to fire mage rune, you can teleport there and you will find Innos Rage there

The best 1h sword in the game is the Beserker sword. 66 damage. You get it from Cavalor or Scorpio when they meet up later on.

Actually Scars sword does 85 damage.
Take it from him at the same time as you get Gomez' 2 hander. |

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If you are a circle 6 magician and have enough strength, USE SCAR'S SWORD!
Unless you've pulled off a miracle and become both circle 6 mage, master of 2h sword, AND have enough strength to wield a good two-hander... |

The best 1h you can BUY is bezerkers.
Scars sword is listed as a special weapon.
But you are correct, Scars sword and Arto's Crossbow of War are my weapon of choice in my current game. |

Perhaps I should have said: "If you made the MISTAKE of being a magician..."
It's certainly not as easy to be a mage in Gothic as in other games. |

perhaps it was a freak accident but am a magician have mastered 2h sword, and have mastered crossbow as well both at level 2 |
