| Ring of Water initiation question |

When I'm made a member, they give me some armor and a quarterstaff that are not (as far as the stats go) up to par with what I currently have. My question: Can I go ahead and sell these items (strapped for cash), or should I keep them for something that is to come later. If I need to keep them, please just say 'yes', as I am trying to do as much of this on my own as possible. Thanks. |

I've not finished NOTR yet but I dont see a reason to keep either if you need money. Lares even says all the other members prefere swords or bows to the staff and the ring rather than armor is used as identification among the circle. |

I believe you need the ring one or two times for some minor quests or to get help with certain things. The armor and the weapon aren't needed for anything, so you can just sell them if you want.

Before selling it, perhaps you could try wear the armor in town and talk to Lares like that? I haven't tried but the result could be funny.
When he gave you the ornament to bring to Saturas, don't bring the ornament but talk to Lares, he will shout after you, quite funny! |
