The rain of fire... No damage?

I just got the Fire Rain spell (attack on the orc village chapter) and tried it out on a bunch of orcs.

It didnt hurt them at all =(

I blasted them for like 1 minute, still NO damage...
It looks cool, but the orcs still had 100% health then I was done...
Is there any special way to use this spell? I see no rain, I just see a major stream of fire blasting down from the sky and strikes down in the ground next to me.

Luckily I have over 120 in armor, so they can barely hurt me even if like six of them attack me in the same time...

The best +armor rings/necklace is deeply reccomended as a mage... Makes it possible to throw spells even when people are ganging up around you and tries to gangbeat you. =)

Hmmm, then it might be orcs that is immune. =(
