Robe of St. Roris

I just spent an hour going to Assemanu to get this robe of St. Roris. It bites! In the xbox game its a 40 drake robe that does not have a constant effect. Bummer!

Just so you don't feel too bad, the patch changed it for the PC game as well. I think everyone agreed it was significantly overpowered. Of course, the PC gamers can add any of a number of uber-item MODs if that's the way they prefer to play.

Uh, bearish, there are plenty of useful items.

Necromancers Amulet
- Constant effect
- Regenerate Health
- +25 intelligence
- 25% resist normal weapons

There's a cuirass in tel fyr that gives a constant 60% magicka resist. Useful to any char, of any type.

Mentor's Ring
-Constant effect
- +10 intelligence
- +10 willpower

The wraithgaurd has lots of resistances on it, it's useful just by itself.

There's a set of gauntlets that give +20 str, and +20 agility, respectively, as a constant effect.

There's a daedric helm that gives +30 personality, constant effect.

There's yet another helm you get from a shrine to the west of dagon fel which has +40 agility, and +30 endurance, also as constant effect.

There are plenty of good items out there (not all have to be constant effect, lol), you just need to look for them. Many of them are much more powerful then any character can enchant himself.

I agree with bearish the robe is too powerful. Where those other items help you talk to people and have intel and indurance the robe made u invincible. My first char, a warrior redguard, had it and I stood and let a bunch of daedra beat on me for 5 mins and my health didn't drop
