I killed all the Dragons with my crossbow. Try hitting it with your crossbow and see if it does any damage. If it doesn't do any damage then most likely you have to be in a certain chapter or have done certain events before the game makes dragons mortal. I remember trying to hit the dragons several times in early chapters without any luck. You might have to talk to Xardas and/or one of the guys at the mercenary camp at the farm first --or even the lead fire magician at the monastary.

You are a Paladin. Talk to Albrecht in Khorinis, and have him teach you combat spells. Use the spells he teaches you from a great distance, and drink potions inbetween. Remember to dodge.

The spells are incredibly powerful, so you should have no problems with any dragons from now on. Good luck.

I was a paladin and I killed all the dragons with 7-8 shots of my crossbow... I never used a single one of my runes.

If you use crossbow as Paladin you basically play the same way as a Mercenary. Besides, the strongest rune of the Paladin is as strong as the strongest crossbow with 415 dexterity, or as strong as a Paladins' best 2H weapon with 400 strength doing a critical hit.

Well ... to each his own

I thought the dragons were way too easy as it was. They should have required certain steps to defeat for example... It was fun though, so I'm not complaining.
