I am a long time FPS player, pretty new to RPG's.

My RPG type is - Love NWN, Hate Diablo.*

Hate Diablo enough that I got it as a gift when it came out (1997), and didn't touch another RPG until NWN came out for Mac in August 2003.

I like the Bioware / D&D turn-based approach to combat, and love what KotOR has done with it - stacking actions and combat moves, pause and remove items from the stack, switch characters easily, whatever.

I love the story, the weapons, the character interactions, the Light & Dark differences, the subtleties, the quests, the very, very Star Wars feel to everything ...

KotOR is my favorite game of all-time right now.

(* that said, I recently finished Gothic II, played a bit of Morrowind, am working through Arx Fatalis, and have gotten Sacred recently as well )

Mike
