| Cant climb ladders! EEEELP |

Hello, if anyone can help me on this i'd be excited.
Ok, i made it so far so good down to level 8 the mines, i beat the beast and now im off to find mithril, well im down in the mine in the pit where the big chunk of mithrill is, i cant get out.
i cant climb this ladder to get back out for some reason, i sort of get stuck in it untill i can weasel out. i have this problem with all ladders in the game.
Am i doing something wrong by trying to climb the ladder to get out or is that the only way. let me know thank you

First, Welcome to the Dot. 
It is not you, it is the game. And that ladder seems to be the worst of them. I found it has only one spot to jump up from to get on it. I took several running jumps at it and just made sure I kept my finger on the up arrow the whole time and crossed my toes as I did it. ( I will assume you are not trying to carry the mithril up there. That is why they have the shoot to transfer it. )
Anyway, I have no ideas for you but keep trying. Start really close to ladder, look at your feet placement, and move backwards a little at a time. Also be dead center of the ladder when you try. Hope you get it soon.  This was a pain in the game for sure.
