When the old camp bands me I tried to go into the camp and kill Gomez. Then when I am in the middle of the camp the game freezes. If you are wondering how I got in I pressed K to teleport through the walls with marvin mode on.

First, you cannot kill Gomez until you have the rune which will teleport you there. Secondly, your freezing up may well be caused by the Marvin cheat teleport. Third, try getting into the camp in a proper way - get a spell scroll to transform you into a meatbug and crawl under the gate - see if it still freezes up then.
