Im reading on some Jowood forums they say the addon could be released on feb april or july but they think it would be released in april  |

I kann believe it. Someone already dropped the ball on its release date; I read around other forum posts and financial news.
Regarding mistakes in spelling within letter authentication, I hear the guy/ or gal, was loaded when it slipped out -explaining the hand written letter with typos. 
Announce Feburary @ Valentine Day 2-15-2004
Release @ April try first to July 2004. Q2 financial boost.

If not, then we may as well wait for Gothic 3; or buy the German Gold edition and translate the subtitles to English. 
My sword is dearly in need of a good polishing.

D***mn it (excuse me )....I just finished Gothic 1,I killed the Sleeper and at the end when it shows a movie,the game crashes and i don`t know what will happen.I see that the Sleeper is being sucked inside the portal but that`s all...the game crashes.I`ve found the folder in which the movies are but I can`t playing nore with Windows Media Player 9,nore with Quicktime.The movies are .bik files.Any ideas on how could I see the ending movie?Pls help.

I hope Atari still has the money to publish the game. Read this link. They had a drop of 20% in revenue, they even delyaed/dropped one of thier titles DRIV3R? I think the console games are dragging down the artistic quality of PC games to ever see a release.

I hope they get smart and release the add-on which will sale to boost income.
Why do all the lame stupid games get published, while the good ones are over looked? Why do they go for silly games when I would do a simple graphics, update for XCOM: UFO, or Master of Magic?

Because the average gamer is stupid and uninformed. They buy what has the most marketing power. This is the only reason I see why a game like The Matrix could sell 3 Mio units.
