Goblin king won't give me access to the restricted room

I put wine in his cookies. He left for the john. I opened up that safe (5599) to find a note and a lever, which i yanked. I then went to goblin king on the john. He won't give me access to the restricted room. He just says that's he's busy. I can access the restriced area from behind, but the orc on the other side always barges in and kills me. Also, I can't open any of the two chests in the restricted room. I got the key from under the pillow from that dude who was jealous of the king. What should I do next?

Hi!

There's an excellent walkthrough right here at rpgdot. Look around the appropriate links and you'll find it.

Also, go at jowood's and join a forum there, if you like. You'll get all the help you'll need.
