i think horses would be cool, and depending on what class you are, (fighter, thief ect...) like in baldures gate 2 you should own your own guild and put your men to your command.

How could there be more freedom than Gothic? You can learn every skill in the game!

I think I already answered this in another thread...but I'll do it again.

1) I think women NPC's are a must. Especialy when your in a village. NPC's that you can talk to, that is. I don't mean the one's that wear practically nothing and Dance for you. But one's that might give you quest or might even team up with you. If they don't have that in Gothic 2 then... well I don't know, but it will be bad!

2) The option to choose your own skin. Yeah that's kinda far fetched, but I couldn't resist.

3) (More down to earth) The Ability to learn special attacks. i.e. If you learn sneaking then sneak attack. So you can sneak up behind some one and cut thier throat or something.

4) Ability to learn special combos, and use diffrent combos and select single moves from learned combos.

5) Arrows that stick into the first thing they hit (with exception of rocks and stuff) but like wood, animals, people, dirt. And be able to retrieve them (ones that don't break on rocks and bricks). Ones that stick into NPC's would only stick for a minute or less (so your not walking around with 100 arrows in you)

6) Limited arrows and quivers to hold them. (adds to the realism). Say 100 arrows in a quiver.

7) A spot to put a weapon on your back as well as your side (at the same time).

Improved exchange and trade options.

9) Improved acrobatics. i.e. Rolls, tucks, flips, climbing.

I doubt that much of this, if any, will come true, but it's fun to imagine it!
