Question on enchanting objects

I'm trying to enchant my Ciprian sword. I have a golem heart and also some bone powder. When I double click on one of these and then click on the sword I always get 'I shouldn't do this' or 'Not a good idea'. I tried this on all my weapons and the same thing happened except for a 2-handed sword (which worked - 'Now, there's something new'). I've also tried using the enchant spell or scroll with the same results. Please, seeing that the manual explains none of this, could someone illuminate me? How exactly does enchanting work? Thanks very much.

When that first happened to me I was preety confused. I finally realized you can't enchant special weapons. Only simple weapons are... enchantable.
To enchant one you have to do just as you did with the golem heart, then cast enchant weapon on that weapon (the little copper circle thing should come up after casting he spell then you click on the weapon).

Hope taht helps a bit.
