I always either play a lawful good paladin or chaotic good fighter (berserker class is my favorite)
in real life, i'm most like a neutral good sorcerer...unfortunately if only i knew how to work magic... _________________ =Follower of Righteousness=

You know there are just those days when you would like to rip a guys head off and other days when the sky is bright and shiny when you feel like singing a tune. That is why I think chaotic nuetral is the way to go. Although it could also be a result of havin a shcizoid personality
I do like a Mage for the versatility. _________________ Lost in time searching to find my mind |

I prefer a lawful good paladin. Perhaps not the best class there is, but certainly the most heroic. It's the only character that can attack a horde of demons on his own without being asked if he's gone out of his mind. I mean, you'd expect a thief to crawl into some dark hole when he sees a goblin, but a paladin is the sort of hero who doesn't think twice about starting a good fight with all that is evil, no matter how big it is...
sure, paladins tend to die a bit more often than thieves , but they have more fun doing so |

I like my Paladins as well. I've never had one die, either. Just balance common sense with ethics and you'll live longer. They do sport a decent wisdom score, after all.
Otherwise no paladin would survive past level one because their code told them to go get the ancient lichlord or dragon. The ethos doesn't specify 'within your power' after all. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Despite rarely playing as a PC in real likfe (i seem to Always DM) I tend towards chaotic good fighters in CRPGs, I have my own moral code (read: I feel no compulsion to not rob the rich and give to.... well, me _________________ Ater deus praevalo
