If Gothic freezes during game...

Heh=)
Sorry for my bad english=))
Let me start...
If game freezes, the only way to proceed playing is to hit three buttons (CTRL+ALT+DELETE) and then ESC.
That's all I know=)
If somebody know the better way to solve the problem-write plz=)
Thanks.

ALT + TAB

and

CTRL + ESC

are some of the ones I use. If those don't work, I'd resort to reseting.

Oh, and Welcome to the Boards

What do you mean by "freezes"?
It sounds to me you've got some background apps hampering...
Try closing all programs before starting the game

I have been trying to fix this problem for months. I even resorted to spending wads of cash into my computer just so I can play this awesome game. If this works for me, I will be a very happy camper.

Thank you very much SABLE. I turned my sound acceleration off and it works!!! Gothic runs! My sound is terrible but it works none the less. After all the money I spent into my computer and this is what fixed it. Thanks again. (hopefully it still works after I turn my computer back on tomorrow.)

It actually started after I rebooted my computer. My problem is solved. I can finally play gothic everyday without it crashing.
