How do I resurrect?
   

I picked up a resurrection spell early in the game but can't work out how to use it. I equip it and click on the dead character but it just selects him. Any ideas? Am I missing something really obvious? It's a once off spell parchment and doesn't mention any prerequisites.

put the curser over them and press "c" for cast

Yes, there is difference between action button (defalut LMB) and cast button (default C).

Are you sure he is dead.. if his portrait is red he's still alive..
If he is dead, just select the spell and right click on him

It doesnt work for me. I suppose this is not default setting. I must press C, but surely you can asign cast function to C button.
