Being mage is easier than paladin eh? (e.g wave of death = 500 damage ugh) And there are incredible spell and light effects.

I am replaying as a mage but only have the free fire arrow so far which is a bit frustrating. However, I like the range of a fire arrow which is more far reaching than a bow and arrow or crossbow bolt.

Where do I find the range values for these missiles?

ok... since the runestones are limited i'd like some tips on good spells for my mage, please.

what's good and what's not?

i've made two runestones, firearrow and small lightning but one of them feel like a waste... SIGH, it's dumb how i can't take back the decision and completely ruin my character cuz of it.

Being a mage is hard until you reach the 4th circle. in the valley of mines aginst the dragons and orcs I used nothing but transform scrolls and I ran and ran and ran no prob with 6th circle runes here though...

Also loved being a mage in gothic 2. I had the fire runes (all of them, except rain of fire -> I didn't liked that one in gothic 1) and wave of death, awaken golem and Death to the undead.
The wave of death is most certainly the coolest of them all, so save at least one runestone for this one.
