No, no towers! You don't need any defense, he never came anywhere near my buildings. When I did the mission I was almost half way through before I even realized I could build anything or get more units. The units you start with are enough to get you started, and I mean start right away before you worry about building anything, just build more to get more men to make it easier. And always remember to kill Mal'Ganis every time he reappears so he can't build an army. |

I agree with roach, I never built any towers, and they take some time to construct. Also, set the barracks rally point to Arthas, so when you create new soldiers they automatically find the hero. _________________ = Member of The Nonflamers' Guild =

Are you playing on Normal or Hard difficulty? Because MalGanis starts hunting Arthas on Hard, and I needed the towers to go back to, because Mal comes loaded for frickin' bear. But that's just me. _________________ "It has been a grand journey- well-worth making once."

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode. I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

I play in normal, and Mal'Ganis always is gathering zombies near me, and there are repetable attacks on my base by ghouls and abominations. _________________ One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness spite them. One mage to stop it all.

I don't really play it that much after progressing through much of the campaign and playing many custom games to the point I understand the different races. It seems almost like Starcraft and Warcraft II, basicly utilizing the same technology with a new interface and races. Honestly I don't think it's worth the price of the game. Starcraft was so fun to play, the strategy fairly balanced between land and air. In Warcraft III I get the feeling it's just a build land units and attack game. Just my 2 cents worth. While we're touchin on game reviews I want to add that Neverwinter's Toolset sux unless you have 100's of hours to invest. My hat is off to the development community making us some fine modules. |

Warcraft 3 is pretty good but Warlords Battlecry 2 and Battle Realms are BETTER! WBC2 is the REAL roleplayers rts! And Battle Realms had cool units and graphics! Dont get me wrong though, you can't do wrong getting War 3, but you can do better with WBC2 and BR!
etc |

Battle Realms I'll agree on. I prefer it in many ways to WC III, especially the whole unit alchemy thing. However, WBC2 blows; it suffers from redundancy. I would recommend Celtic Kings for a good combo of RTS and RPG, set in the Roman era. It is a sweet game (loved the demo). Check out the demo. It is a beauty. Nice 2d graphics, too. _________________ "It has been a grand journey- well-worth making once."

I considered buying Warcraft III up to the Games Convention... I mean, until I saw the footage of C&C Generals* . It will be my next RTS game for sure.

Age of Mythology will be my next RTS
Also, an expansion pack for Empire Earth is in the making...although I'm not sure how great that'll be...
Can't wait for a WC3 expansion _________________ = Member of The Nonflamers' Guild =
