The 3 Mines, where is the last knight...

Ok, i am having trouble finding the last guy in the 3 mines quest. I have talked to the guy who made me kill the snappers, then i went to the mine near it, where everyone was slaughtered, found no one there, found the knight in the cave on the west side of the castle that says he has 4 chests. Then i went to the north one, and cant find the knight in charge, i talked to the guy you 'know' thats says they have gathered a few, but apparantly i need to talk to a knight, and i cant find the one, the other two only gimme this inos crap. Am i missing the guy there, or am i missing something else completely, pleace help
