hey ya'll. ooohh, my head hurts... since sunday 13 I try to install the add-on. i've read all this topic. I did almost all that you said, guys, and thx, but I'm stuck. so, I have G2 in english, with Gothic2.exe version 1.31.0.1 installed, I've replaced the exe with Gothic2.exe version 2.5.0.0 to install the add-on, managed to install-it on other computer but when I start the add-on with GStarter, later asks for the original CD. there is somthing I can do, maybe some NOCD exe? or is the Gothic2.exe version 1.31.0.1 the problem? pls hielppp...

OKe lemme gett this straight.
U installed The addon on GII 1.31?
And after that u updated to 2.6 then used the mod and as final cracked it with a G2-addon v2.6 NOCD Crack???
Well if u did all above it shoudl would good

uau!! still, there is someone outthere! thx Dragonay! ok, I did all that things, but the NOCD.exe. that's why it ask for the original CD. cause i have'nt. what can I do?

In case some of you still doesnīt know it:
This forum was linked on a big torrent site as the place to go to get the pirated version running.

Of course you can run it without a crack. All you need is the German exe v1.30, as explained numerous times. Failed CP checks aside the add-on installs and runs correctly.

I dont want to gett in a forum fight but i am not known for keeping my mouth shut.
I did that once Gorath. And beyond all things u say it couldnt run the game without a decent NoCD crack. So i dont know how u guys did it put i spent and eternity trying to figure it out.
Edit: I do understand the warning, but i know that a lot of people still have problems with playin NoTR caus their pc tells them all the time to insert the corect cd.
I gett loads of Pm's and Mails of people asking me what to do with the the fact that they cant play it.

Yes, this is a complicated topic. These people either have copy protection problems or a pirated copy. How should we know the difference?
I could install it without problems. Install everything in the same directory, put the exe in there after G2, thatīs it. All I had to do was disable ZoneAlarm and the virus scanner.

Hmmm i'll be sure to try that.
And u are right we can't know who has actually has the game and who downloaded it from internet. I had the official once but my pc ate it >.<
Now i got a quick version but i am gonna buy G2 gold soon.
I am not the type of guy that copy's all but its hard to get those games now a days
