Sorry if I spell it wrong. But, after I am attacked by those guys in black robes I almost always get that stiffed sign. I think, it is kinda curse and it prevents me from sleeping (I see nightmares). Does it has any other effect beside that? Do you really get possessed, as it was told by some NPC, if you doen't order cure from mages?
And another question, what effect has blessing (you can ask some mages to bless you). Is it just blah-blah?

I didn't find any other effect beside nightmares. I thought, it would affect your speed when you are running or slashing with sword, but it didn't.
About possession: I was cursed for whole 3rd chapter and didn't get possessed. |

I think the most notable effect is you’re not able to recover your heath or mana during sleep |

You get stiffled after going through the the black "jig" 3 times, and the effect is that you can't sleep to get healthy. To remove it, go to the monastery and pay 300 gold pieces to get healed.
To avoid it, attack them with ranged attacks, and they'll attack you back without doing the jig(once they attack, they'll never do the jig, no matter how close you come).
Blessing has no effect as far as I know. |
