| English Release- BAD News:( |

I just checked GothicDot and the update is that Gothic 2's English Release Date has been delayed to May. It says that it could possibly be delayed further 
This is what the post said:
"One of our visitors has sent us a mail from Amazon.co.uk, in which they state that Amazon has contacted JoWooD about Gothic 2 and the release date was said to be May 2nd, possibly later. Here's the important part:
Regarding your order for "Gothic 2 ", I wanted to give you an update on the status of this item.
We have contacted the manufacturer, and they have informed us that the release date of this game has been delayed. They now expect it to be released on 2 May, 2003, however please know this may be subject to further delays.Well, not to say that Gothic 2 will be outdated when it is released, not at all, but hey, JoWooD KNOW how to blow a release, don't they?  " |

The USA version will be released on April 17, 2003. The UK version will be released May 2, 2003. 
This data is from the Amazon.com websites in USA and UK.
For some reason, UK game releases are almost always a couple of weeks behind USA releases, even though it was made in Europe!

How can the game be delayed for so long? The german version was released in November 2002, and pyranha bytes finished the english version months ago. What the smeg are jowood playin at? This is really, really gettin on my breasts now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F*&*&$*%$** Jowood! |

And April is only one month away for those getting the English version (like myself.)
Still, for the U.K. people, I wouldn't it trust it out until mabey June or mabey even later, because, like it says at the top, the U.K. version will most likely be further delayed. Sorry. |

It may only be two months away, but us english people have already had to wait for 4 months longer than the germans, and we have'nt even had an approximate release date from jowood until now. And even that is nly the earliest release date...............ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yeah. I've been waiting for an entire year for Gothic 2 to come out. Still, I'm trying to be as patient as I can. |

The longer we wait, the more interest you lose.You already waited 6 months, then you might not buy it immediatly so the price will drop.
Some might even go to warez just to stick it up JoWood.
