Best challenge/difficulty mods

I never finished Morrowind originally largely because of the lack of challenge as the game progressed. I have since purchased Tribunal and have always planned to play through again with an enhanced challenge mod. However, its been so long since I followed modding news I am astounded by the number of different mods available and more than a little confused.

Anyways, can any of you recommend some of the better challenge/difficulty mods currently available (don't necessarily mind if the difficulty mod is part and parcel of larger mod). Also, any other mods that you would recommend in general.

Any input appreciated.

the adventurers mod? www.morrowindfiles.com
check there.. i think the adventurers mod fixes some bugs in the game aswell
