Where is this First Orc ,that i have to kill for blacksmith? that quest almost at the start of the game...
i cant find him....
oh and which level i must be to killl him without sacrifacing my life? lol |

Well, did you allready did the job for Bosper with the skins?
If you didn't, go hunt with Bartok, you collect the hides and he kills everthing, if he asks to go further you go further, at a moment you will meet a shadowbeast and a orc scout, bartok will die, you finish the orc scout, take his axe (don't forget to take bartok's stuff, he got like 100gp )

Halaxxx, f.y.i: Bartok will refuse to go hunting with you until you learn to take animal trophies... you can learn to take skins from Bosper if I remember right. Oh, and one more thing, Bartok doesn't have to die (although I don't think it matters either way), just make sure the Orc runs after him and not you!  Then get up behind the Orc and let 'em have it!

and for those not too strong,you dont even have to kill an orc just find orcish weapon Cipher at Onars farm have one for sale |

Yes Bartok does not have to die at all, You just have to fight what ever he is fighting. Like when all the wolves attack him just hit one so it comes off him and to you, kill that wolf and fight the next wolf [ Bartok does die if you let him fight all the wolves] Then let him kill the rest including the shadow beast untill you fight the orc. Then while Bartok is fighting him you can hit the orc from behind so the orc comes to you then run around till bartok hits him and the orc will go to him and you guys should take him out. Then take the weapon and you got it. |

thanx guys that helps me with few things...but i dont know the place where the orc is....i dont know which gate of the city i should go...
could u describe me the way to get to him?like direction or something....i was runnin around the city and i couldn find him...
maybe i even killed him ,cuz i dont know how orcs in G2 look like ..... |

Orcs are big and hairy.
Know where the marketplace is? There's a Fire Mage standing there most of the time. There's also the gate you should leave the city by in search of the Orc. Cross the drawbridge and moat, then you'll have the choice to take the path to the left or right. Go right, but do not stick to the path.... keep to the left of the path as far as possible. The Orc's cave is in the mountainside, not very far from the gate.

It's good if you let him die.. You'll get like 60 arrows, a bow and like 100gp (thats pretty much if you just started playing)

@Jaz- it hink you ment 'go left' and go to the cave were 2 bandits are located. the weapon lies near the entrance (inside) of the cave.

dont agree why not knock him down cast oblivion get expirience and he's inventory  |

I found 4 ways to obtain that Orc weapon.
1. There is an Orc scout west of Lobart's farm (the gate that you first enter when you start the game). Imagine coming to the city for the first time in the game. Now, instead of entering through the gate, instead turn left and walk along the wall (and continue hugging the rockface when you get to it). First you'll encounter some snappers. Then a shadowbeast. Then an Orc scout. You can either use Bartok to help you, or you can pull the Orc all the way to the city gate and let the guards kill him.
2. Exit through the other city gate (near the marketplace). At the fork in the road, go right. Just a little bit up the hill, on your left hand side, there will be a cave entrance. There is an Orc scout in there. You can pull him to the gate guards and they will kill him for you (you can help out if you want).
3. If you exit through the same city gate and take the path left and then instead of going up the cliff towards the lighthouse you get off the path and keep going along the city wall, you'll eventually encounter a small cave at a bottom of the cliff. I forget what's inside that cave (couple of rats?) but there is an Orc axe to be found lying on the ground in there.
4. As already mentioned, Cipher on the Onar's farm has one for sale.
Mind you, there are other Orcs to be found on the map in chapter 1, but most of them you would actually have to kill yourself and that can be a bit too much.

If you ask Bartok to go hunting with you, he leads the way and you just follow him... don't worry, the Orc will find you at that point. They don't call them 'Scouts' for nothing!

There's a fifth orc weapon in the shadowbeast caves under the bridge on the way to the circle of the sun, but you have to kill at least one of the critters to get it I think. If you're lucky the shadowbeast in the front part runs off to have tryst with a lurker.
