Beta Testing during the holidays |
|
Hi,
I got into beta testing this year, and with the holidays quickly approaching, I was wondering if any of the betas I'm in will will even be running? (I'm in several and was hoping to get in some serious testing time during my time off). So, is it common for betas to stay open during the holidays? And, if so, is there any support, like CSR's? Or will I be submitting my bug reports to no one?
If any of you more seasoned beta testers have any info or advice, I'd appreciate it! (My beta forums don't seem to be saying either way what they're doing....)
Cheers! |

In my experience betas are up through the holidays. Have fun!

Yes it is common for betas to stay open during holidays. No, there usually is no support like CSRs for betas, bcuz the whole team is concentrating on developing the game, plus they have to pay CSRs and will not use them until release, so no CRS in beta. You will be submitting bugs to the development team, usually through in-game ways, beta forums, or other bug report mechanisms. |

What Vati and Ammon said
The holiday will just not see any update for a little while, and if the servers go down it might take longer for them to be up and running again. Otherwise you should have no problem playing throughout the holidays. _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=
