God, what do you hear about Sweden? We may be strange, but that's just, strange.
And there was some guy from the US who asked if people used freezers in Germany. Boy, did he know anything about anything?
Some people really think strange things about us Europeans, I wonder why. _________________ There once was a youngster, DzD

Yes but we sometimes think strange things about people out of Europe so why they couldn't think strange things about us ? |

Please... keep off topic chats confined to the off topic forum. There's at least one huge chat thread there. Or else, use a messenger or chat client. _________________ Jaz |

this is usely annoying during gameplay, looks like you'll have to use the no-cd crack that u buy it or not.
*****In addition to SecuROM trigger functions, Gothic II will feature self-developed anti-piracy mechanisms which constantly check for the presence of an original CD. ************** |

Has anybody seen any reliable data that truly demonstrates that copy protection schemes for games are of value to the company? I have not - all I see are people repeating the same tired generalizations that speak to the ASSUMPTION that game piracy must hurt the gaming companies a lot - but no data. I would be very interested if anybody knows a source. _________________ When everything else in life seems to fail you - buy a vowel. |

Copy protection is ultimately going to work about as well as prohibition did in the US a while back . _________________ When everything else in life seems to fail you - buy a vowel. |
