stopped dead in crypt lv 5
   

hi all am new to this so dont laugh
i am in crypt lv 5 i think and stuck, i have searched everywhere and cant continue,i dont know how to open the gate just passed azreals corpse or
if thats even the way to go next, also whats up with that chicken guy? i can use any help at all,i love this game and cant admit defeat yet.

It's a mean one isn't it. It took me ages to find the way to open the gate too....

SPOILER

The "chicken guy" is Lord Inut who has taken on the form of a chicken (I guess that's who you mean).

It's basically a chance of a bunch of free XP points if you look up the method of "freeing" him (I think it was 20,000). I think it's only after applying one of the patches too (??)

Perhaps there are some clues somewhere in the game on how to do that quest, but if there were I didn't come across them. (I simply read the answer somewhere ) .

It involves a sequence of actions that you wouldn't ever guess or perform accidentally in million years. But whether it's a kind of joke or "easter egg" or whether there are some instructions somewhere in the game I'm not sure.
