That would be good, i had (have) plans to play around with mod making and if it were MP3 it would be much easier to make a cool island with a soundtrack.

Everything is mp3's from what i understand with seperate directorys for different types of stuff... combat music will have its own directory for example. The game randomly chooses a file from combat directory during combat. So you can just replace the existing mp3's with you own favorites.. |

I'd love to replace some of the songs with death metal, or even some hard Limp Bizkit..

That's weird, i was just thinking that since Drowning Pool pretty much made 'The One' it would be perfect combat music .

Hahah, wow.. that's almost "X-Files Bizarre".
I've been looking through my MP3 files and I've made a separate directory for music that I might want to hear while I whip my sword around. Oh man... how thrilling would it be to approach a monster, notice that it is twice your height, take out your sword and all of the sudden hear, "Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor!" in a screaming voice while the battle commences. Oh baby baby baby, how my mouth is dripping... |

I think that alone would make it the best combat system ever.
Not to mention the fact that i could make a scripted event to introduce a main character with 'Iron Man'

Iron Man would be awesome pretty much for any part of the game. Any Ozzy, actually, would be just plain rocking.
Even the potential to create your own music files (if you're into that sort of thing, I'm not) would be exhilirating enough. I've never heard metal being played in any game ('cept Final Fantasy X), but with Morrowind, I think I just might enjoy that opportunity.
Anyone got some more songs? |

I played the clairinet for a semester back in the day, but I think i'd stick with inserting my liberated *cough* mp3's into the game.
I'd go with Rancid, Bombshell Rocks, Zeke (oh yeah, that'd work), and New Bomb Turks, for starters anyways

I've never heard of those bands except for Rancid, but I've not actually heard their music.
I play the drums, so... I don't really have any musical talent, just got at banging things (eg: drums, girlfriend).
Anyways. I've posted like... 30 times tonight, I'm heading to bed. Hopefully to dream about other songs I'll be putting in, and about Morrowind itself. |

Lol, death metal is definately something that do not belong to MW. Have you seen any screenshot and can you imagine death metal playing... LOL, I suppose that you can imagine it. |

Death Metal is just one possibility (not to mention that only Static X and Drowning pool are really death metal, the other bands are just punk)
But i could also use my LOTR soundtrack, or my collection of music from the Andes. You could make a whole mod just based on sound
