| Gothic 2 is comming out November? |
|
I never really looked at anything for gothic 2 cause i didnt wanna spoil anything from the trailers or pictures but i checked alot of game sites and it says its comming out november in north america how can this be true , gothic 1 came out last year how could they make and finish gothic 2 in one year and why does the screen shots say pre alpha from august ? I dont know whats going on can any one fill me in i know the sit es release dtates are estimated guesses but there usually accurate sooner the better i just hope they take there time and dont rush it  |

Official release for the German and English language versions is 2002-11-29. Actually, the German release has been pushed back because of extensive QA - it was originally meant to be released on 2002-10-18.
The new screenshots don't say pre-alpha anymore. You might check them (and other GII related stuff) out here.
We'll try to keep you up to date on everythuing related to Gothic and Gothic II  .

Paul,
you made so many mistakes in your 7 posts on these boards that I feel the need to remind you of a few things:
-We have our own Gothic fan site. All known facts about Gothic II can be found there. I suggest you check this out first, including the news section, for an update. If youŽve never been there youŽll find a lot of unknown material.
-Please post in the correct forum. The moderators (Jaz and I) donŽt like unnecessary work. And nobody really wants to see bad-tempered mods. 
-Please donŽt doublepost. Use the edit button instead.
-The RPGDot boards, like every other forum, have a search function. So if you want your answer fast you could try to locate some older threads about the same topic. Especially useful for troubleshooting or tips&tricks.
And now welcome to the boards and have fun.

Short answers to your questions:
1. 11/29 is the EU and AU release date. North America is not known yet.
2. Gothic was released in Germany in March 2001. Gothic II uses the same engine.
3. Pre Alpha shots are old. Ours are newer.
