The German release would be on November 29th, US/international release not confirm yet...depend on further release date update. I bet most likely we would playing it during December; still more than two months !.

BTW what is your new system configurations, could you list it out - just something for me to drool over...

That's one helluva machine you got there!, just imaging playing Gothic 2 with 21" NEC monitor & GF4600 at very high resolution!. I think you also 5.1 speaker then?. With excellent graphic and immersive music/sounds effect = WOW.

BTW this lead to another question, what sound card formats Gothic 2 will supporting; EAX 2? and any optimization for player using 4.1/5.1 speakers system? anyone know about these?

Yea I think Im all set for Gothic. I want to be able to have the view distance set alllllll the way back to enjoy the view from atop mountains be able to see minute details on armor and swords and stuff.

And from what Im hearing they are going to tweak the G1 engine (which I thought was fabulous) so sounds like it will be a lot like Gothic only better.

How bout this?

4 computers!
4 keyboards
5 mice!
blah blah... but only one computer is over 1.5GHz. Still, I'm sure Gothic 2 will run perfectly fine on it. Otherwise in November it's gonna be:

5 computers!
5 keyboards!
5 mice! ....

What? The world's most advanced heuristically algorithmic computer a plain graphic card? Now you've seriously insulted Hal9000.

Hehe, it was meant to be a joke. Have you never heard of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey?
