Prayer Cap? and other questions...help please.

Well, just like in Gothic, I've tried to max out my level before going to the next chaper. So... I'm at level 13 and still have not completed chapter one. However, I've found a Dragon XXX (can't remeber the name) sword that is two handed and needs 80 strength and does 80 damage. I NEED IT! I've prayed at tons of shrines and gained about 15 or so strength from Innos but it seems to be blocking me from gaining anymore. Is this the game or just bad luck with the random shrines? I have 20 LPs to either punp into ST to get the weapon or to get up to 70% one handed, any advice or should I just keep trying on the shrines?

Also I have a tons of king sorral and tons of dragon root, can I pay some one to make a pernanent potion for me>

Rember I'm in chapter one and dont' plan on leaving until I can use this sword!

Thanks for your help,

BTW I'm at 30% only in 2 handed. OUCH!

A friendly reminder. I read somewhere that the shrines will work for only eleven times. The stats increase is random.

Paladin here. I can pay an alchemist mage, Neroas, to make a potion. He doesn't make permanent potions though. Perhaps someone else can give you more guidelines.
