| Help! I can't open the door! |
|
I need to know how to open a certain kind of door. I have only found them in Daedric ruins. They are pretty large, and have a scarab like protrusion coming out the middle. Specifically, there is one of these door behind a Front Atronarch in the ruin that has the Skullcrusher Hammer. Can anbody tell me how to open these doors? |

You just open it like any other door...does it come up with the name of the shrine in a box and so on? What happens when you try to open it? |

I think you need a certain kind of key, but I'm not sure which one.

The door just says "Door" and it says it is unlocked. I had to unlock it and disarm a trap. |

Yeah, but it still won't open. It just makes a loud metal clanking sound when I try to open it. |

Allow me to be a little more specific. The door itself is somewhat round, being wider in the upper portion than near the floor. It almost looks like the top part of a skull in shape. The protrusion is oval in shape and at the bottom there are two horns hanging that form about 3/4 of a circle each. The location is between the Omaren Ancestral Tomb and the Daedric ruins where the Skullcrusher Hammer is found. If you don't know where that is, its just east of Sadrith Mora. The Daedric ruins are visible, but there is no entrance. The only way in is through an Ancestral tomb on a small island just east of the ruins. If you go through there, you will reach a small area, with a long name (something about the forge and it includes the name of the ruins). You jump down into water and go through a small tunnel, and come to a Frost Atronarch which sits right in front of said door. The floor all around in front of the door is ice. I hope this is specific enough. If you need further details, let me know. Also, if I'm in the wrong ruins to get the Skullcrusher, let me know. |
