Yeah, I've seen it. Apparently it was an Ultima 8 expansion that never saw the light of day. A pity. Since even an expansion to a mediocre Ultima is better than no expansion.

Yeah, i heard about the lost vale a while ago, but the box is quite an interesting find. It was rumored that the game was actually finished and the box only gives that rumor more conviction. |

Rumors that it had been completed, eh? I wonder why they never released it. Perhaps after Ultima 8's less than stellar reception, they opted to can it.

Well, the rumor is that they decided to not release it since Ultima VIII had sold much more poorly than initially expected. It's kind of funny how EA made them release it early to save money and ended up losing out in the end. |
