| Just became a novice Fire Mage and am stuck. Bug? |

I am supposed to talk to Parlan to get tasks but the only conversation topic available when I talk to him is "I want to increase my magical powers".
I have talked to every NPC and novice in the Monastary and nothing is giving me a quest or advancing the story. I really hope I am not stuck cause I only have one saved game.
Help? |

I'm not sure, but I think you are supposed to give the sheep to the guy with sheeps around him. And the money is for some guy in the kitchen or something.
There is a topic about this in the gothic2 - spoilers forum. Try to read in there.

Listen, there is one rule when you play the Gothic-games:
save often in many different slots.
Many people on this forum will agree with me on this.  |

Describe it more. You've just become a novice. Did you give your sheep to that guy who is beetween sheep (I don't remember his name right now.) and your 1000 gold to Gorax ? If you have then try Loading few times in row. If that doesn't work then you will have to start over. Sorry.
(Next time you play. Use at least 2 saves. Around 3 reccomended.  )

I prefer more than that but oh well.
Yeah, I betcha gold is the problem. Turn you gold in to Gorax and your sheep in to the novice left of the gate as you walk in. Then Parlan will talk to you,
