Now that the patch has been released to convert german voices to english for notr. Is there any chance someone will release a mod that will only translate the menu/option screens?. So we don't have to see subtitles etc.

Go into the System subfoder and open "G2aTT-G2TNoTR" settings file. The second-to-last item, force_Subtitles=1, change to 0. No subtitles!

ah great thnx, didn't realise it created a new .ini file for notr.

Isn't there just in setting in the OPTIONS menu that allows you to turn the subtitles on and off. Or was that in another game?

There is, but it doesn't do anything when using the mod.
