Iiik I hope I won't have to do that, I have plenty backup (back of saves folder as the game limit the number of save) and hope it will be enough to solve any problem. But I get to Dexter base a looong time ago so I would not like restore a so old save.
At this first meeting I talk with him and thanks he let me the life in this first talk because I was a level a bit low plus I hadn't yet fulfill the gregs tasks.
But he warned me that next time he will kill me. And from the unexpected try I did yep next time I go talk to him will be fight. So no more talk with him, except perhaps if I can go him down without to kill him. Could be nice to get more information.
In fact that was quite stupid to get there but well it's common stupity that sometimes a RPG could expect from you to make the story progress.  |

I went through this part of NOTR on Saturday and all I needed was the letter from Raven found on Dexters body. Greg did not want it and afterwards you must read it. After you read it, the appropriate journal entry gets written and you can go talk to Vatras. |

Dam, you can even avoid any fight with Dexter, .
One word, the advices I got to get thrgouh chapter 2 without delay it too much and no need to wait to have conclude Dexter base problem was dam good, it's definitely the best way to go. |
