best wpns for backstabbing

assuming that your thief is high level enough to get the 5x mutliplier and has 2 attacks with 3 swings per attack, and you have 120 modded STR (100 base, +20 from 2 Anks of Might)

Ideal (like anyone would be lucky enuff to get *Light* to drop....i'm not :/)

Primary Hand: *Light* Sword ((5-40) x 2.4) x 5 x 6 = 360-2880
Offhand: Thieves Dagger ((5-14) x 1.7) x 5 x 6 = 255-714
total dmg in one round (assuming all hits and each hit does x5 dmg): 615-3594

Realistic

Primary Hand: Fang ((10-24) x 2.5) x 5 x 6 = 750-1800
Offhand: Thieves Dagger ((5-14) x 1.75) x 5 x 6 = 262.5-735

total dmg in one round (assuming all hits and each hit does x5 dmg): 1012.5-2535

*the STR multiplier is a bit higher for the 2nd example because Fang gives its wielder +10 STR, but stats cap at 125, so that extra +5 STR is wasted :/

if you find math mistakes, lemme know...math was never my best subject

I used 2 stilleto's with 3 attacks a round with 3 swings. I thought the sheer number of criticals hits (Stilleto has a base chance of 10%) was worth more.
