Hehe, I suppose then if you stretch it then it will be like Diablo as it is almost combat only. I remember they considered TB for Diablo at one point too.
They will really have to do some magic to make a good game if the leaked demo is anything to go by. I'm hoping that was just some specific test for something. We want Fallout, not FoT. _________________ “Everyone’s a girl when they’re face down.” |

Bethesda goes out of their way to make the best game they can.
FO3 made by Bethesda will not be like the previous Fallout titles, but I certainly expect something much better than FOBOS.
And since Interplay actually went under, we're not going to see a Fallout MMO. |

They are effectively gone but not technically...still just hanging in. It's ridiculous. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Actually the most recent info I've found suggests that Interplay is on the verge of going under but are determined to develop a Fallout MMO in order to save the company since that's where the gaming community is headed. The CEO has made statements regarding the fact that he is very adamant about developing the Fallout MMO no matter what. They owe aLOT of money to alot of people (like almost $1miillion in backrent alone)and are currently in default on alot of their loans. Their massive loss at the end of 04 was largely attributed to the failure of Baldurs Gate:DAII, and FoBOS. Hopefully they learned what they did wrong with BOS and can deliver a solid MMO that will be what we all expect it to be and save Interplay from certain doom. They have their quarterly reports available on their site.
I think he [CEO-Herve Caen] sees that a true Fallout MMO is the only thing that could save Interplay now, and they better do it right and stop ignoring the devoted fans like us. |
