Can someone who has played ID1 and ID2 tell me if there is a big difference? I know there is the addition of the 3rd ed. rules for ID2, but is this a big change in terms of how the game plays? Is it significantly better than the first ID or is just marginally better? Is it much longer than the first? Thanks... |

it's basically the same as the first game. i bought this game a week ago, and am enjoying it. if you liked the first one, then this one is a sure bet. as far as the new rules, i don't notice any changes in the game play. you do get to fight new enemies and u have new spells, of course, but as far as length, i'm not sure which one is longer, because the first one had two expansions if you count "trials of the luremaster". |

Yes, the graphics are WAY better in IWD 2. Plus, you get new classes and races too. And, now there's a developed skill-system. _________________ Like some bold seer in a trance;
