That's quite an odd thing to hear from a soulless one, isn't it?

BTW, your two Gothic fanfic stories are my favorites. I hope you'll write some more in the future, SC.

Perhaps King Rhobar II, isn't really the king.

Perhaps he's taken our "Hero's" identity.

It says that the Hero is suffering from Amnesia. Well maybe he is the true King Rhobar the II and no one knows it except the fake!

.......

Or maybe not. I haven't been here awhile, just thought I would put in a theory.

Or perhaps Xardas is behind this all.
Unless you know ALL the stroyline of G2 the possiblities are endless.

Your right I change my mind, but I kill him anyway.
Thank you very much. But I only wrote one Gothic fanfic and I hated it, so I deleted it before ever sending it to Jaz, and never mentioned it again (until now) so I wouldn’t have to admit that is was so weak. So I think you have me confused with someone else.

In the metaphorical trashcan. It was cold, sterile, and weak. I really liked the idea I had for it, but it turned out badly; sort of a point A to point B kind of thing, things happened but it didn’t get across any kind of greater meaning, it had no soul. So I deleted it. I was going to try to write it again, but then I forgot about it. I may or may not give it another shot, but if I do and I don’t like the result then I’ll just never mention it again.

Well, Jaz and Suicidal Cockroach, you're of course both right. I confused SC with Baal Meatbug. Well, cockroaches and meatbugs aren't that different, are they?

@Jaz
Your three stories were of course excellent too. They seemed very professional to me, like they are from a real writer and not just a fan. And I was definitely amazed when I found out later that you aren't a native English speaker. I just wonder about one thing: I was already reading "A matter of perspective" when I was struck by the ralization that the hero of the second and third story is in fact a heroine. Of course there were some odd moments ( like Cavalorn calling Garland's torn clothes "indecent" ) but I really must have missed something. Or did you intend this?

And I'm sorry for causing this thread to slide off topic.

Isn't this getting a little off topic?

Thank you, RobKob...
...in fact, being a bit nebulous about my protagonist's gender was my intention .

To get back on topic, King Rhobar seems like a normal nice guy to me. Let's see how far this predisposition will go .

I'll probably kill him. At least once.

Oh, I'm sure everyone will try to kill him.
You'd have to use cheats of course, but it'll be worth the power to be gained.

Rhobar is the devil, he’s probably the one that attracted the orcs in the first place. The valiant orcs are just trying to stop a great evil, but Rhobar is telling then that the orcs are invading. He is evil and must be stopped!

Rhobar is really a good man. If you look at the video in the beginning of G1, you can clearly see which creatures who are really bad. Yup, as you might have guessed, it is the evil Orks!!!!! So don't come here and blaim the honorworth king Rhobar.

King Rhobar was never meant to be "Bad," (at least not in Gothic 1.)
