Sacred: Review @ VGL
The latest review of Ascaron's 'Sacred' is up at Video Games Life. It's a pretty positive article with a score of 91%; here's a snippet:
On very rare occasions, we at VGL sometimes find ourselves taken by a game so much so that we forget to objectively review its positives and negatives, leaving us with nothing after hours and hours of play time. To be the fair and honest critics we are, we have to have extensive knowledge of the subject matter and piles of notes so that we’re able to conjure up a review that accurately portrays the game and our opinions of it. We can play games for hours, pausing to write down factoids pertaining to the quality of the title where normal people would just carry on regardless. Yet after playing Sacred for hours on end, we had no notes.

Sacred
The game is too monotonous.
The re-spawning monsters need be removed in singleplayer.
The game would be decent without the monster respawns. The way it is now I would give the game 6/10 as the monster respawns ARE that annoying.
