Problem with the addon install

I have a problem, maybe someone can help. My original addon cd did not work aswell and I tried all tricks that they sayd would help, but nothing. Then I discovered one way to unpack the files by adding /x to setup filename but that unpacked files in to one dir and I have no idea where to put them. So maybe someone can send me the list of files and dirs or point out where can I find it.

Thank you.

When the install starts, there is some cd check and after that up comes text in german - insert original cd. But I have original cd. There has been same problems for many people as I have read from this forum, but the solutions that where written there will not work. When I unpacked the files manually and copyed them to g2 dir then I got the game even work once (had this blue menu and everything) but it crashed on loading. I think some files must be somewhere else but where? If anyone could send me the list of files in the g2 dir (with the addon) then I would know where to put them maybe.
Thank you.

I donīt know which files are copied where.
Did you update all your drivers, especially for the mainboard? Are firewall and virus scanner closed and nothing running in the background? How old is the windows installation?

If it also doesnīt work on another PC it could be a defective CD. Did you try Daemon Tools?

Daemon tools does the same thing. Is there any way to get a file list from somewhere?

Here is the list of all files. Instead of doing it manualy download install.bat (link provided) and change the directory name of your own (where you have G2 installed) then run it. Then update the game with german patch and english unoffical translation mod.
