If you're resting (not waiting) and the magic's not coming back... you're probably born under the Sign of the Atronach.
Which means your mana will never, ever, EVER regenerate on its own. It can only regenerate by potions and spells being cast against you. Temples/Imperial Shrines are good for this... if you pray for a blessing quite often you'll absorb the blessing instead, and they're so long lasting/powerful that it will fill up a 200 magicka bar no problem. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I don't recommend The Atronach to new players - it's a bit tricky to get the hang of unless you know what you're doing.
You might want to archive that character and come back to it later. _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Not sure about that. I know what you mean, but I'm a new player (I've been playing Morrowind for about 2 weeks) and I'm playing both a warrior-type and an Atronach mage. The warrior is almost too easy in Morrowind and the mage is ridiculously hard, at least for me. So I play the mage for a refreshing challenge when I get bored with the warrior.
Crisu, the trick is to summon an Ancestral Ghost and hit it. It will fire spells at you which will be absorbed and recharge your Magicka. |

Not a bad tactic, though you only absorb 50% of the time so the ghost can do some damage... but not enough to kill you unless you're really, really weak. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
