| Just started playing gothic 2 and... |

It seems exactly like part 1. Dont' get me wrong part one was great, but it just seems like nothing has really changed. Does it get better? Is it better than part 1? Should I continue playing? I'm debating about whether to play this, arx fatalis again, or morrowind: game of the year edition. |

I've played all the way to chapter 3 and I like it more than Gothic. Others may disagree. Yes, there isn't all that much stuff that's different, but overall it's a better game.
If you make it back to the Valley of Mines and still feel this way, then maybe it isn't what you want. |

GothicII contains much more of everything : NPC's, skills, monsters, quests but on top of all "Meatbugs"!!! oh boy i sure do love those critters
But indeed it is right it contains much of the same elements as in G1 but if you play for a while you'll find it 100* better than morrowin arx fatalis or any other rpg
