"Plex", Community Manager of the JoWood forums, has made a <a href="http://forum.jowood.com/showthread.php?s=79aa1b3f5eabfb4112e946eebf525481&threadid=14368" target="_blank">post</a> about the international release of 'Gothic II'. JoWood is going to comment on the issue within the next "two weeks". At the same time, Plex has archived all posts from the original 'Gothic II' forums.
<br>Hmm.. just like so often this could mean several things  . JoWood has either cancelled the international release or they are planning on a fresh start w/o all the negative comments about the delay of the int'l versions. A third possibility is that JoWood has found a partner who wants to put up his own forums for the game and that the English 'Gothic II' JoWood boards will be shut down after the official announcement. We'll once again have to wait and see... |

The forum had a spam ratio of 99%. A reset was the best Plex could do.

I gave up on the official Gothic2 forums months ago. Mind you, I would have loved to see Val on the job there for just one day!!!!!

I post there sometimes...have to say it's hilarious sometimes. Plex is such a lazy guy (I'm sure he hadn't visited those boards for several weeks before last week) |

He isn´t lazy. The forums are only one part of his job. He his responsible for many JoWooD related websites and he has to compose the music for Söldner - Secret Wars.

Why would they wait two weeks to tell us it's cancelled? And if they want to get rid of the negative comments, they should just release the game. |

The JOwood fourm was the absolute worst. There were about 5 or 6 posters who used it for there personal chat room. They all seemed to be pre-teen Euros who had no understanding of what spam is. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that emailed Plex numerous times to point out the destruction of the forum by these 5 or 6 dweebs, I finally gave up and just left.
I happened to revisit the forum yesterday and saw that Plex had finally come out of hibernation. Unforutunately, Plex only archived the old forum topics that were literally 99.99% spam chat by the 5 or 6 dweebs. I can't believe Plex just didn't delete them entirely and ban the dweebs. I see that the dweebs are still posting so I'm sure they will end up just fxxking it up again.
