I crashed in Destard (Ultima 9), and now my game starts over from the beginning; even though all my old saves are still in the folder. Has anyone had this bug and know a workaround? Been playing for a few weeks and I'm in no mood to start over . Any help would be appreciated.

Odd, that. What happens exactly when you try to load an old savegame? You might try to backup your saves and reinstall the game, too.

Thanks for replying, I did finally figure out a work around, cost me about a day of progress though . Seems that certain area's have more memory leaks than others, and Destard was real bad. About 10 of my saves were corrupt, once I had deleted all of those, I was able to load up again. Strange and annoying, but I did finally beat it tonight; 5 years after release hehe.
